Steven Hyler, M.D., Tampa, FL

Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Columbia University Medical Center and Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, still teaches his favorite class, Psychiatry in Hollywood Films.  The idea of Sam Goldwyn being treated by Sigmund Freud was inspired by an old article in which Goldwyn claimed to have offered Freud $100,000 to write a love story.  The rest was just time and effort.  The Glove Man is his first feature screenplay.

Pamela Hoevel, Easly, SC

With an unhealthy propensity for dark comedy and maladjusted families, Pamela’s fond of curse words, killing off characters, and finding humor in wildly inappropriate situations.  As a Producing Fellow at the Lab, Pamela created the budget and shooting schedule for Wolves and is confident the strong female leads will attract a talented cast .  This is her first feature screenplay.  You can also read her hilarious script, Shitstorm, a pilot short intended to be her directing debut.

Michael Philip Davis, NY, NY

Michael has had an extensive career in the arts, as an opera singer, director, producer and documentary filmmaker, including an award-winning film, Regina Resnik: New York Original, about the famed Met Opera star.  Singing Through the Storm is his first feature screenplay.

Kris Hall, Special Ed. Teacher, MFA Playwriting, Hurricane, W Va

Kris has a remarkable gift for the voices of George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde and their Victorian contemporaries and brings them gloriously to life with wit and intelligence.  While living in NYC, Kris met his future wife, Kim, at a reading of The Fabian Waltz.  The feminist beliefs of the characters intrigued Kim.  She asked to meet the playwright and they've been together ever since.
